About Justin Kopcinski
Hello, I’m Justin Kopcinski. I graduated from CalPoly SLO with a bachelor’s in Computer Engineering and a minor in physics. I am currently pursuing a graduate certificate in systems engineering from UCLA. I am an ELDP ( Engineering Leadership Development Program) Software Engineer for Raytheon, an RTX business. This program consists of 3, 8 month rotations designed to give me hands on experience across RTX engineering roles. My first rotation will be in McKinney, TX with the Engineering Execution team doing AI, Metrics, & Analytics as a Data Engineer. Here, I will support enterprise wide engineering initiatives and perform crucial collection and analysis of business data. I previously interned with Raytheon in 2025 as a systems engineer under Systems Integration & Test where I supported various programs through the development of a regression testing framework. I also interned at US Navy NAVFAC EXWC (Naval Facilities Engineering - Expeditionary Warfare Center) as a cybersecurity engineer.
