ABOUT JUSTIN KERKMAN
One of the most important things for me is being able to make a difference in other people’s lives. I was born and raised in Lincoln, NE and that has always been an important aspect of my family growing up. Since family is important to me, as well as many opportunities within Lincoln. I am currently a freshman at UNL in the business honors academy, studying both actuarial science and data science. I have learned many necessary tools for the actuarial profession, specifically through computer applications such as excel and python, with many influential mentors to help me along my journey. After college, I plan to work in the actuarial field, whether that be as a straightforward actuary, or in a related field.
