I manage many aspects of planning for infrastructure projects, such as natural gas pipelines, compressor stations, electric transmission, wind farms, roads, and more. As a trained biologist, my background originates from the environmental and permitting side of planning, however I also manage land acquisition, survey, and engineering as an overall project manager. Natural gas pipelines require planning leadership by someone with a broad perspective and an effective team of staff and subconsultants to address the myriad questions and requirements brought by stakeholders from landowners, environmental groups, government agencies, engineers, and corporate managers. The teams that I lead are experienced in their respective fields and we have completed planning for hundreds of miles of midstream, transmission, and distribution pipeline systems as well as compression and processing facilities. For linear energy projects, there is a great deal of overlap in requirements and strategies with some unique differences specific to the other types of projects. We have the experience to effectively complete these types of projects as well. On the generation side and also for some industrial development, I also manage and participate in the technical aspects of Clean Water Act Section 316(b) compliance from impingement & entrainment studies to economic evaluations and engineering.
