Organize scope, schedules, and cost controls by overseeing a multitude of projects from drafting, proposals, securing purchase orders to the initial procurement of plant drawings/P & ID’s to working with in-house drafters, design, fabricate, and install equipment into the Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) System at coal-fired power plants.Serve as project manager and consultant on the design and implementation of a patented “Large Particle Ash Screen” to prevent coal slag from damaging equipment downstream of coal-fired boilers and economizers. Manage and coordinate with on-site contractors including pipefitters, boiler makers, general foremen, engineers, and operators to complete a successful project within the deadline and on budget.On-site project lead for projects in regards to mercury emission control that oxidize and capture mercury with a patented technology developed by STEAG. Hands on experience with gas analyzers, Semi-Bulk injection devices for injection powder activated carbon into the slurry of flue gas desulfurization absorbers, running data acquisition (DAQ) monitors, overseeing and analyzing data from continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS) at power plants. Forecast deactivation rates of De-NOX catalyst after extensive use in reactors of power plants.Provide power plant operators with services such as inspections of SCR reactors, inspection of complex ammonia piping systems thus making sure that the plant is operating in accordance with the ANSI K61.1 code. Provide reports as to the operation and safety procedures involved with equipment involving ammonia storage and use.Providing direction and teaching technicians to analyze the efficiency of the reactor during AIG tunings. Provided detailed technical reports. Designed and fabricated the nation’s only filter bag cleaner (prototype). Have trained newly hired engineering personnel in testing, programming, calculations, and other various aspects of catalyst management.
