Procure supplies, equipment, miscellaneous services, and furnishings from government and non- government sources through new contracts, competitive bids, or existing government contracts• Serve as the Court’s Contracting Officer with purchase authority up to Supervise property and procurement staff, providing leadership, training, and oversight to maintain operational efficiency and compliance• Actively participate in the Budget committee to develop and manage financial strategies, aligning expenditures with organizational goals• Formulate, evaluate, interpret, implement, and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and standards for the court unit• Review, evaluate, verify, and process invoices and payment requests in the court’s financial system• Conduct market research and secure competitive bids for purchases over to achieve cost savings and operational excellence• Monitors all spending activity (historic and projected) to ensure that fund balances and total court allotments are not exceeded• Perform quarterly reviews of unliquidated obligations, ensuring all obligations are current, accurate, and necessary• Oversee Cap-X projects ranging in value from to Manage a operating budget, overseeing allocation, proper coding, and compliance with financial policies.• Prepare all purchase orders in the court’s financial system
