About Justin Ford

I find marketers who tell stories for brands for a living always have the best stories about how they got here and mines no different. 10 years ago, I was in high school in my senior year. One of my friends introduced me to uploading Minecraft videos on YouTube and I loved it so much I started my own channel on Twitch and never looked back. For 5.5 years, I dedicated myself to my passion of being a content creator. I hosted events for my community, I worked on my own personal brand building, and I really learned how much I loved the internet. I dropped out of college and pursued this full time but ultimately, content creation was hard to sustain. In 2020, I stumbled across a volunteer position to do social media coverage for an Esports org. I went above and beyond once a week to cover their socials so much so, that they hired me as a contractor and eventually moved me from TN, to KS for a full time role. I learned a lot about how to be scrappy, how to be an adult out on my own, and once again, just how much I loved social media. In 2023, I finally moved again from KS to MN and left the Esports industry to work at a marketing agency. This is where my craft went from scrappy to refined. I feel like I’ve had the best years of my career here absorbing knowledge from so many talented marketers. I’ve said it a few times but I’m crazy obsessed with social media. I’m very passionate about my job. I know what it’s like to have no experience and have to learn how to do this job and I’ve learned just how much I love it. 10 years ago I thought I was going to be a pastor or a history teacher but 10 years later, all I want is to show people the positive side of social media. This is a place where we can celebrate people and celebrate life and any brand I can help to make social media fun, is what I want to do.
