I\'m a hardware engineer that loves rapid prototyping work and projects that involve a little bit of everything. I specialize in FPGA and PCB design for custom embedded/accelerator projects both small and large, and love challenges in the HW/SW co-design world.I\'ve done a few different things in my career so far. At NASA JPL I worked to design avionics (from scratch with very limited heritage!) for scientific deep-space exploration missions; several of my designs have been launched and are currently operating off-world. More recently I have been working on ultra low latency hardware in the quantitative trading/HFT space. In my student life I did embedded security research for my MS, and biomedical research to produce minimally invasive diagnostic devices for rehabilitative therapy during undergrad. I am a published author with papers in both of these areas.In my downtime I like to do freelance electronics design whenever any particularly interesting projects show up, and I have contributed to a few different open source HW/SW projects as well.
