As a dedicated Health and Safety Professional, I am passionate about creating safe and healthy work environments that empower employees and enhance organizational performance. With over 6 years of hands-on construction experience as a labourer with Local 183, more than 5 years as a Health and Safety instructor, and over 5 years working as a Health and Safety Professional, I bring a diverse skill set to any organization looking to implement, maintain, and improve there Health and Safety programs.With a background in Occupational Health and Safety, complemented by post-secondary education, I am skilled in designing and implementing effective safety programs, conducting risk assessments, developing H&S courses, training on various H&S topics, and fostering a safety culture. My commitment to reducing risk and improving safety performance drives me to help organizations thrive while prioritizing the well-being of their employees.In addition to my experience, I am an energetic public speaker, having presented at various events on H&S topics, including Enbridge\'s Contractor Safety Day and the Local 183 Scholarship Dinner. I enjoy sharing knowledge and inspiring others to adopt a proactive approach to workplace safety.Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the importance of collaboration between leadership, employees, and safety committees to create an environment where everyone is invested in safety. Whether it’s conducting safety audits, providing training, or consulting on risk management strategies, I am driven by the goal of ensuring that safety becomes an integral part of an organization’s culture and daily operations.
