In my role as the Associate Director of College Counseling, I am tasked with the academic, extracurricular, intellectual, and professional guidance of students as they prepare themselves to be admitted into a number of highly selective colleges & universities. I also hire, train, and supervise Galin Education\'s college counseling staff in order to make sure our clients are able to work with the best and brightest college admissions professionals across the nation-Provide personalized guidance and coaching to students and families throughout the entirety of the college application process-Offer guidance concerning high school course selection, college fit, college major selection, standardized test preparation, campus visit/interview preparation, personal statements, financial strategies, and more-Provide up-to-date information on trends in college admissions, including changes in application processes, deadlines, and policies-Hire, onboard, supervise, and continuously train a cohort of part time and full time college counselors-Represent Galin Education through webinars, sales meetings, customer consultations, and across a number of professional organizations in the field of admissions & recruitment-Lead presentations and client workshops on essay development, standardized testing prep, and admissions strategies on an annual basis-Create client facing guides, blogs, and other marketing material as needed-Lead client consultations, enroll new clients, and identify key upsell opportunities based on our book of services
