About Justin Candler

Main career is in ROW/Land Profession. I have 12 years of experience across multiple domains of the energy sector - been around ROW/Land since 16, listening in on acquisitions with Dad & learning Title from Mom. So in reality it\'s closer to 2 decades of being around the sector. My portfolio consists of Renewables (Utility, Community + BESS)- LNG (Midstream)- Electrical Transmission + Rebuilds, Fiber, CCUS, BIA projects. Along the way, I am proud to have built a diverse arsenal of skillsets including: M&A Due Diligence, Title & LTC\'s, Acquisitions, Community/Townhall Engagement, Appraisals, Easement/Lease Language, Routing & GIS, Project Management & Coordination- I can wear a lot of hats competently. This 12 journey has blessed me with opportunities to continually learn diverse skillsets from a lot of great people who are highly skilled and were willing to take the time to educate me in their knowledge & processes.My degree is Interdisciplinary. I chose to focus on 4 areas: Business (Pre Law), Communication, Geography (Climatology focus), Psychology. I have a strong intersectional understanding of these areas which gives me a unique strength in Organizational Behavior & Org Comms from a Management perspective, as well as a strong skillset in Argumentation & Crisis Communication. These intersecting skills is what allows me to see the larger picture and overcome obstacles that arise internally to the organization and externally from the field a bit better than the average lad. I have a strong analytical mindset, tenacious in my research efforts, and I communicate directly; leadership is natural to me & I enjoy working with multiple teams to forward progress varying aspects of an organization.Outside of ROW/Land - I like to nerd on topics of interest and produce white papers above my pay grade. I like to see the world. I enjoy snowboarding during winters & hiking during the summers. & of course spending time with the love of my life :) Alway great to Network & learn about the awesome things taking place around the industry!

   Unicorn status under Select.I have done most sectors with Select. Natural Gas, Fiber, Electric, Solar. Hundreds of signed easements and zero eminent domain needs. PNM\'s Facebook Data Center in 2020? All me from Title to Acquisition & recording. When PNM needed Due Diligence across the entire city of Albuquerque to determine their easement rights? Me. A new client where we need a client facing lead and fly out to Idaho to kick off TDS\'s multi-million dollar fiber build? Me. Saved TDS thousands by my methods mind you. From purchasing Easements for free - to making sure we do all our proper due diligence and try to locate any Public Utility ROW\'s we could utilize. Creating a GIS division and doing most of the KMZ mapping for Gen-Tie routings? Me. Doing full LTC\'s and Title for projects and helping out the Title manager? Me. Appraisal analysis? Me.
