ABOUT JUSTIN CANDISH
With over 27 years in the construction industry, Justin has experience in most aspects of construction management, design management, project management and business and property development. He has worked in a wide range of sectors including, residential, commercial, fit-out, public sector, industrial and health. After qualifying as a Carpenter in 1997, Justin went on to work as a Project Foreman for 2 years before moving to London where he completed a 4-year cadetship with a large public listed construction company working from Assistant Construction Manager to Senior Construction Manager on large scale commercial projects. Justin returned from London to work for Arrow International managing various commercial projects in Nelson. Justin joined Scott Construction in 2007 as General Manager purchasing 50% of the business in 2008 and the remaining in 2014. During this time, he has grown the company from 15 staff to over 150 staff operating in Nelson with partnerships in Marlborough and Queenstown. Justin is so a director of Nayland Scaffolding Ltd which operates in Nelson, Marlborough and the Westcoast with and has a team of over 40 scaffolders.
