About Justin Back
I am honoured to serve and lead over of the US’ finest EMS crew and team members, pursuing our vital mission of saving lives. I am privileged to work with and learn from the talented team members of Acadian Ambulance as we work tirelessly across Texas, Tennessee, Louisiana and Mississippi on the ground and in the air to care for people in their moments of greatest need. Bio-Justin was born in Perth, Western Australia, attended high school at Aquinas College and subsequently graduated from Australia’s Royal Military College. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Cross University and a Master of Business Administration from the Louisiana State University. Justin was made an honorary Doctor of Medical Science by Edith Cowan University in Australia in 2022. Justin is a proud veteran of the Australian Army, retiring as a Captain, having seen service in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Australian/Pacific region. After leaving the Army he worked in commercial leadership roles in the offshore oil and gas industry spanning South East Asia, West Africa, South America, Europe and the Sub Continent. Subsequently he moved the the US in a domestic oilfield role, leading project development across 6 states, before entering the healthcare realm as a vice president with Acadian in 2013. During his time with Acadian he has performed in leadership roles in support services, integrations and operations. He was appointed as President of the company in November of 2020.
