ABOUT JUSTIN ARCHER BURCH
Justin Archer Burch is the President & CEO of Delta Compass-WCEA, a regional economic development and inclusion intermediary serving the Delta South. The former national director of economic development at Rural LISC, Justin served rural partners across all 50 states and Puerto Rico, helping them identify challenges and opportunities, and delivering the most appropriate support to meet local needs around economic challenges. In 2019, Justin became the founder of Rural Works – a new workforce development initiative that leverages the momentum of rural communities to reimagine and redevelop the workforce systems that impact their communities. Justin previously served as Director of Programs at Delta Regional Authority and served as the director of the Delta Workforce Funding Collaborative at Foundation for the Mid South. Justin was named one of President Obama’s first 100 Americans to the Obama Foundation’s USA Leaders Program, was named a W.K. Kellogg Foundation Fellow, was named an Aspen Ideas Global Fellow, earned the National Fund for Workforce Solutions Investor Committee Award for Systems Change, and is recognized as a national leader in rural economic development and poverty solutions.
