ABOUT JUSTICE CRAWFORD

Growing up as the son of two lawyers, my parents thought they were quite the comedians with their choice in name for me: Justice (I know they\'re hilarious.) While never pressured to go into the legal profession, I did what any kid does and went to work with their parents from time to time. It was in those endless hours of conference calls and innumerous late night client meetings that I found myself intrigued by the occupation each of them carried out. Through summer jobs and impromptu coffee chats with attorney colleagues of my parents, I found myself thinking \"Wow, my parents birthed a prophecy!\" as I knew that the legal profession was calling my name (literally and figuratively). However, as I matriculated to the University of Southern California as a Business Administration major, I stumbled across a newfound passion: Marketing. From executing campaigns to building client relationships, I found myself at a crossroads of where to go with these two divergent fields. I quickly realized that the intersection of both my ambitions of marketing and law lies within the realm of Business Law as it not only allows me to continue to explore my passion for the legal field just as my parents did but also forge the meaningful client relationships that I seek from marketing and business partnerships. Continuing on my journey in hopes of pursuing my Juris Doctor beginning in the fall of 2025, I seek out opportunities where I can not only leverage my legal research and writing background but also flex the interpersonal communication and client acquisition skills that I have learned thus far in my early professional development. One day, I hope to contribute to the intersection of Law, Business, and Entertainment to continue to increase diversity in these spaces for minorities to be seen and heard.
