About Justas Valciukas
The AI race isn\'t won in data centers. It\'s won in mines, processing plants, and supply chains that most people have never heard of. Every GPU needs neodymium magnets. Every EV battery needs lithium and cobalt. Every missile guidance system depends on rare earth elements. And right now, China controls the processing of over 80% of the world\'s rare earth supply. I found this space a year ago. The more I learned, the harder it was to look away because once you understand the mine-to-magnet supply chain, you realize everything runs on it: AI, clean energy, national defense. And America is dangerously behind. I work at Rare Earth Exchanges, where I lead go-to-market strategy and business development across the full mine-to-magnet supply chain — rare earths, critical minerals, magnets, and recycling. I help connect the companies, capital, and expertise working to build U.S. independence in materials critical to national defense, AI infrastructure, and clean energy.
