About Justin McAfee
I have almost died in a general aviation airplane more than 5 times. Most recent time was a 3 inch build up of ice on the leading edge of a twin engine G58 Baron out of Denver, CO.I have my vision for the future, and by being a super connector, passionate enabler, and driven advocate, I love pushing others forward toward their own vision also. Let\'s set incredibly difficult goals together. It starts with a conversation to begin the relationship before growing into something greater in which we help one another. No matter the course, my greatest joys come from you attaining your vision.I\'m an avid pilot, trained mechanical engineer, and obsessive enthusiast of turbine engines. I have a PPL, SEL, SES, and instrument rating. With my next spare moment of time and money, I\'ll pursue a rotary license to be ready for the wave of eVTOL crafts soon to flood our everyday lives.I am the founder of Wright One, a company developing a 100% electric turbine which increases engine efficiency across all stages of flight (CTOL or VTOL). This increased efficiency is captured through adaptive fan stages, independently operated without a central shaft as a power drive. Our engine excels in its adaptability to non-uniform fluid flow, giving it an application in place of all existing turbines ($150 billion total addressable market). Our power plant not only reduces industrial footprint waste in the aviation industry, but it also increases reliability of complex systems with application in the medical, oil and gas, and electrical industries.

I’m building Wright One Inc. into America’s next great electric propulsion company — starting with a modular, circular-economy cooling platform for data centers and crypto infrastructure, and scaling into drone propulsion and electric turbine systems. Our first product, the Wright Fan, is a 40W, RPM, 251 CFM CPU cooling system engineered for extreme uptime environments. It replaces failed fans in under 45 seconds, compared to the industry’s 3–5 minute average — and it’s built on a fully trackable refurb loop that recycles 83–95% of material. Every cycle gets cheaper, cleaner, and more profitable.Today we’re scaling production with our contract manufacturer for units/month, activating customer allocations, and preparing for our first fully domestic refurb facility in Cedar Park, Texas. Our next platform — a modular, contra-rotating electric ducted fan — pushes this same motor architecture into drones and aviation. It’s designed for high thrust per watt, long endurance, and scalable manufacturing.
