Total responsibility for all fitness and programmes within the Health Club managing a team of personal trainers, studio and swim co-ordinator including all freelance instructors and swim coaches to achieve goals and their individual aspirations with the company:• One-to-one meetings with all direct reports• Team meetings to convey necessary information and promote further training for the team• Responsibility for achieving the yearly budgets for the gym for personal training sessions sold and delivered, the personal best programme, the joint pain programme, swim programme and studio timetable• Attending regular head of departments meetings (HOD)• Recruitment and training of new personal trainers, class instructors, swim coaches, rehabilitation specialists• Retention and attraction of members for all flagship programmes• The execution of classes delivered by each of the personal trainers and class instructors• To guide, plan and ensure each personal trainer achieves the Personal Trainers Iconic Journey as set out by Nuffield and includes their aspirations and goals• Managing and working with a Studio and Swim Co-ordinator to effectively ensure the smooth delivery of fitness classes, swimming lessons for both children and adults• To source and deliver the community outreach programme to ensure Nuffield’s charitable status• To manage the repair and maintenance of all fitness equipment in a timely manner with our suppliers and SLA’s• To process all payroll, timesheets, workday submissions, annual leave requests, personal training agreements• To manage an employee who has been given an apprenticeship to become a personal trainer• Qualified assessor for flagship programmes• Mental Health First Aider Qualified
