ABOUT EDILSON LUIZ A.
I\'m passionate about solving problems with technology. I believe in the power of the technology to change society. As software is written by people to people, I believe solving each others problem should be the main focus of all developers. For this to come true being up to date with what is being created and used in this industry is crucial and that\'s why I love to talk to people about technology.In 2008 I did my first HTML page and since then I didn\'t stop learning about software development. A couple of year after that I started to feel a lot of difficulties coding due lack of knowledge in software quality. With that in mind I made some connections with open software community of the city I used to live and there I did my first unit test.Developing open source helped me to grow substantially, I had the opportunity to be mentored by great people and looking for a company which takes software quality seriously was the natural next step for me. That\'s why I knew that Thoughtworks was the right place to be. The hiring process was really hard but worth every minute.The skills I\'m proud of- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies- Software quality as a premisse of software development- Highly experienced with software Continuous Delivery tools and techniques- Experience with testing strategies as TDD and BDD- Mastering VIM (it took me a lot of time =))- Good knowledge of Functional Programming- Strong knowledge of JavaScript- Recognised skills of coaching and mentoring- Very open person that easily speaks at public;
