I\'m a Computer Science student at Brigham Young University focused on AI, with long-term interests in graph data mining and reinforcement learning.My project studies NBA salary prediction as a controlled testbed for a core question: when and why does knowledge-graph structure help beyond tabular features under matched-information settings? I built a multimodal player knowledge graph with Neo4j and Python, then compared tabular baselines, graph embeddings, and GNN-based approaches under strict season splits and leakage-aware protocols. Rather than chasing a single score, I use systematic sanity checks (e.g, label shuffles, graph randomization) and transductive vs train-time inductive designs to attribute gains (or failures) to actual relational mechanisms.I\'m seeking AI research/engineering opportunities where I can keep pushing mechanism-driven graph learning—and eventually integrate RL-style decision and adaptation—into reliable, real-world systems.
