Counseling services are based on a relationship characterized by trust and respect and conducted in a nonjudgmental environment. I individualize therapy, tailored to the needs of my clients, and, work with them to identify goals for counseling and to move toward meeting those goals. With a 25 year history of working with children and teens in the classroom and specialized training in play therapy, I can help you and your children navigate the many stages of development as well as work in conduction with the school system to ensure appropriate 504 accommodations are put in place. My treatment modes include both directive and non-directive play therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT and mindfulness. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I have the training to address the unique challenges of individuals who have experienced traumatic stress.
