ABOUT JUNAID AHMED
I am a highly motivated Accounting and Finance graduate from Manchester Metropolitan University, now holding a Master’s degree with Distinction. I have developed a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of accounting and finance, with a particular focus on corporate governance, financial decision-making, and ethical practices.Before transitioning into the finance sector, I spent over 12 years working as a Security Officer at the University of Manchester, where I ensured the safety of students and staff, and gained valuable leadership experience. This role sparked my passion for helping others and has since motivated me to pursue a career in education, specifically as an Accounting Teacher.Throughout my studies and career, I have acquired a range of skills that are highly transferable to both finance and teaching: attention to detail, critical thinking, data analysis, effective communication, and leadership. I am particularly drawn to roles where I can help others develop their skills and reach their potential.
