SBJC is a special education school district with multiple locations in Bergen County. At the jointure, I work at our Maywood campus and have worked at our Felician campus where I provide supplemental assistance for the teachers and work closely with BCBA’s. Such assistance includes devising special strategies to reinforce learning materials and skills, working in a 1:1 and 2:1 setting for discrete trials, engaging in ABA therapy, completing data collection for each student to monitor progress on IEP goals, providing anecdotal feedback to teachers, and building strong relationships with the children.
