About Julio Llerena

For 25 years, I\'ve been a writer and editor in the fields of journalism, marketing, technical writing and literature. I started writing for magazines and after 10 years I adapted to the online environment. Times were tough for journalism, so I decided to use my skills in something new -technical writing. I\'ve been doing that for a while, but along the way, always on the side, I\'ve been a book editor, proofreader, translator and editorial consultant. Working with authors is looking at writing from a different angle, it\'s taking care of someone else\'s vision. Yes, I love what I do, but that\'s not saying much. To be accurate, I love words, their quiet mystery, their power to create things, shape ideas, persuade others, mold sensations and emotions. I\'m lucky to be in their company for a living.
