ABOUT JULIO LEMOS
I am a Senior Solutions Engineer at Neota in London. I obtained a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom (Department of Computer Science) under the supervision of Frank Wolter and Andre Hernich. My work was on Ontology-Based Data Access (OBDA) with expressive datatypes. I also earned a PhD in Law at the University of São Paulo / LMU Munich.Previously, for a brief period of time, I was a research fellow at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics, Department of Computer Science, University of São Paulo (2014). In 2013 I stayed at the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg working in a project in AI and Law.Currently I am investigating Large Language Models as applied to generating XML and translations between natural language and various formalisms. In my spare time I am also a writer.
