I’m a Front End Engineer for Zywave, Inc, an insurance broker software company focused on helping our partners stay up-to-date with the health insurance industry. In this role, I take pride in collaborating with multiple SCRUM development and design teams to create intuitive features with delightful user experiences for our product suite. The most rewarding part of my job is hearing how the new features and functionality my teams and I spend months brainstorming, designing, and implementing make our partners’ jobs more efficient. We are just as excited for our partners to utilize our new features as they are to use them!Before joining Zywave, Inc, I worked for an award-winning advertising agency in downtown Milwaukee—Cramer-Krasselt—for almost four years as a designer and front end developer. I had the pleasure of working with fun and amazing clients such as El Monterey, Evinrude, Cintas, Sojourner Family Peace Center, and Johnsonville.My favorite part about working as a front end developer is being able to also tap into my creative side. No matter where my teams are in the stage of a project, I am able to switch between my design hat or development hat to keep the collaborative process going. I’m always eager to connect with other creative engineers!I’m equally passionate about development and design so I pursued a BFA in Communication Design and minor in Photography from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design while I taught myself how to code during my free time.I love hearing from former colleagues, managers, and creative folks in general, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to connect.
