My job is to oversee all the general daily running of the whole complex and to market the facilities. This includes promoting the 18 hole golf course, driving range, FootGolf and Par 3 course. Assisting the golf professional with her lessons. Encouraging non-golfers to call in to enjoy a coffee and a cake in our coffee shop can be a little difficult as \"golf\" has such a bad reputation for appearing snooty. I aim to encourage everyone to come along to enjoy our facilities, even if its to host a hot air balloon meeting or a dog agility trial.My long term plan is to move my swimming club business to the same site as the Golf Club and my gut feeling is that\'s not too far ahead now

We like to think we are Fun, Affordable and Accessible to Everyone! Whether its for a coffee and a cake following a walk from some of the many footpaths that lead from the clubhouse car park, business people meeting up for 1:1\'s, cycle clubs etc. you will be made to feel welcome even if you\'re not playing golf. You will even find the people that play golf here will welcome you too. Our fantastic 18 hole golf course is gaining a great reputation for well conditioned greens and we have a fantastic on-line booking system, that enables you check out the tee availability and also grab some fantastic off peak prices. We have 3 beautiful rooms on the first floor level of the building, that enables them to be used at anytime without interfering with the general golf trade. For anyone wanting to hold business meetings or seminars we have a projector and screen and wifi is also available. For family parties they really are ideal as the 3 rooms interlink to enable the older members of the family to escape from the disco and band but still enjoy themselves. Self-catering cottages are onsite just a stone throw away from the clubhouse so if you prefer not to do the cooking you can always pop over for lunch in the clubhouse and enjoy the golf, fishing and great walks that lead from the club. The cottages are used for a many things from golf breaks to people needing short term accommodation whilst working in the area or even while their homes are being renovated. We have had film crews stay during their time filming at The Cardington Hangers and many people return year after year. Other facilities on site: 8 bay driving range, Putting green and Par 3 or Pitch n Putt that is a fantastic facility for beginners, children or anyone that wants to sharpen up their short game. After all isn\'t the saying \" Drive for show but Putt for Dough\"? So even if you are not a golfer please pop in and say Hello :)
