I\'ve just embarked on a new journey as a Content Writer at University Support Services, an affiliate of St. George’s University. In this role, I\'m thrilled to be contributing to the university\'s mission. Here is my journey so far: Before joining University Support Services, I gained valuable experience as a Marketing Assistant at Futterman, Lanza & Pasculli, LLP. In this role, I was responsible for crafting captivating social media copy, creating compelling graphics, and handling administrative tasks. During my time as a State Fiscal Policy Communications & Campaigns Intern at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, I delved deep into the realm of policy research and strategic communication. One of my notable achievements was leading a project to catalog publications for the State Priorities Partnership, a network of nonprofits advocating for equitable tax policies. This experience allowed me to develop my skills in research, analysis, and project management while making meaningful contributions to the organization\'s mission. My tenure as Under-Secretary-General at the International Model United Nations Association was incredibly enriching. Managing the logistical aspects of the world\'s largest high school Model UN conference challenged me to demonstrate strong leadership and organizational abilities. I also had the opportunity to edit background guides on various international issues, facilitating discussions on topics ranging from global health to conflict resolution. This experience deepened my understanding of international relations and fostered a passion for diplomacy and multilateral cooperation. At the Institute of International Education, I contributed to projects analyzing the impact of COVID-19 on higher education. Through designing surveys, analyzing data, and synthesizing findings, I gained valuable insights into the evolving landscape of higher education in the face of unprecedented challenges. This experience further honed my skills in research, data analysis, and written communication, preparing me for the complex challenges of the professional world. I hold a Master’s in Public Policy from Stony Brook University, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA. Prior to that, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Political Science also from SBU, graduating summa cum laude. This interdisciplinary background has equipped me with a unique perspective and a diverse skill set that I bring to my professional endeavors.
