ABOUT JULIE TINDALL
I have a passion and lifelong dedication to serving and supporting my community. My community engagement work led me to complete a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at the University of Colorado, focusing on grass-roots social justice, public policy, effective management and best practices in the public and community service sector. I have served under the leadership of Mayor Dyer at the City of Orlando for 15 years, managing and coordinating over $3.5 million in annual grants to community-based organizations in Central Florida. I also serve on the City’s Office of Emergency Management Team, where I have actively engaged in the City’s response to disasters and emergencies, such as the Pulse shooting in 2016 and Hurricane Irma in 2018.My professional skills include building collaborations and partnerships, engaging community support, designing key coalitions and strategic interagency partnerships, and implementing innovative solutions to address community needs. In addition, I have extensive experience and expertise in program development, strategic alignment, tactical implementation and project management.
