ABOUT JULIET HERNANDEZ

I have been hungry for knowledge my entire life; I have always been interested in understanding how things work and finding ways of making them better. Trying to apply that logic to human interaction I went for a Master’s degree in Psychology. After some yeas of clinical experience, I realized that my clinical skills were transferable to the corporate sector and that I could guide employees to achieve their maximum potential, while accomplishing corporate goals and objectives. Therefore, instead limiting my possibilities to influence to a one to one clinical approach, I went into corporate management. To combine my two passions, I signed up for a Doctorate Degree in Organizational Leadership. Today I can say that I have an in depth understanding of organizational culture and human behavior. I am analytical and data driven with over 15 years of hands on experience in business operations. I have successfully managed operations of Quality Control, Appeals and Grievances, Special Investigations Unit, International Partnerships, Customer Experience, and business assurance of compliance with risk appetite and regulatory environment through a complex process of data analysis and control effectiveness testing. A Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Mental Health Counselor, who is most productive in an interactive environment, where I can direct the execution of complex processes without loosing focus of the human factor driving the employees. I lead with a Transformational leadership style, treating employees with respect and individuality, to drive growth and success for both the individual and the organization. I charge my energy catching up with friends and family, doing a workout routine or exposing myself to any form or art. In my free time I paint or do craft projects, I also really enjoy growing vegetables in my garden, being outdoors and going to the beach.
