I help lawyers improve their legal writing skills. Law students typically don’t graduate from law school knowing everything about writing for law practice. I aim to bridge that gap and coach both newer lawyers and more senior ones on effective writing skills. In real time, I review drafts and provide individualized feedback. I also host writing workshops addressing common legal writing challenges, including how to write persuasively; how business lawyers can write effectively; how to draft law firm web content; and how to revise, edit, and proofread your own work. I also present to law students around the country and try to bring a voice from law practice into the academic environment to help students gain additional skills and confidence in their writing.
