I am a serial entrepreneur and executive with a passion for making things happen. As a CEO, I have led my companies to successful outcomes. I co-created the Caltech Seed Fund a venture fund focused on early stage startups. I coached technologists at Caltech as an Entrepreneur in Residence and help them launch over 25 startups in AI, Robotics and other deep technologies.I founded and led Strobe, Inc. to create a 3D LiDAR vision system for the self-driving car. Strobe which was acquired by GM in 2017 has patented technology to enable faster decision time for self-driving algorithms. Previously as CEO of Perfect Market, I managed an innovative team of engineers, designers marketing and sales professionals to provide digital publishing software for premium publishers. Perfect Market backed by Comcast Ventures, Idealab, IRustic Canyon Ventures, Tribune Company and Trinity Ventures was acquired by Taboola in 2014.I have successfully led teams at OEwaves,Inc, a developer of novel microwave photonics technologies and Net Effect, Inc, an online customer-support SaaS company. In Net Effect was acquired by Ask Jeeves for $300M.
