   Julie focuses her practice on representing and advising cooperative and condominium boards in various subject matters including drafting and reviewing proprietary leases, bylaws and house rules and assisting boards in enforcing such documents. She has significant legal experience representing newly formed boards in new construction and newly converted buildings and helps these boards transition from sponsor to unit owner/shareholder control. Julie has excelled at resolving disputes regarding defaults by sponsors and other unit owners and has also handled a myriad of construction-related claims including construction defects and RPAPL 881 proceedings. Julie often negotiates with architects, engineers, contractors and vendors providing goods and services to the cooperative and condominium associations and frequently handles access agreements with neighboring buildings, transfers of cooperative shares to trusts, commercial leases and underlying financing for her clients.
