The County Clerk\'s Office serves the residents of Tippecanoe County. The volume of public interaction alone makes this office vitally important, in addition to the fact that many transactions the Clerk handles are life-impacting. The Tippecanoe Clerk\'s Office interacts with tens of thousands of people and performs hundreds of thousands of transactions each year. The scope of the Clerk\'s Office is so vast, that nearly every adult county resident is likely to have some manner of business with the Clerk during a term of office. The clerk is the custodial administrator of all official court records; the processor for filing fees, court costs, judgements, fines, and child support; serves on the Board of Elections and oversees and certifies election results; the clerk issues many miscellaneous licenses; keeps the records of all wills, trusts, and probate proceedings; and the clerk also performs all duties imposed by Indiana Statute or by a court. Daily she directs, leads, and manages 30 full-time employees. During elections, she may lead over 200 Poll workers. She also manages several million dollars.
