ABOUT JULIE R.
A seasoned advocate with over a decade of experience in Washington policy and politics, I have special expertise in foreign policy, defense and counter-terrorism policy, homeland security, and human rights. As Director of Political Outreach, I serve as AJC’s primary congressional liaison and as the political operative of the (non-partisan) organization. My work allows me to shape and drive AJC policy positions—directly with lawmakers and through our 22 offices around the U.S. — as well as position the organization for ever greater influence with Congress and the Administration. I am passionate about leading our staff and lay leadership to be even more active and engaged advocates, promoting moderate, mainstream positions in an empathetic, diplomatic manner that brings stakeholders together around common concerns and interests.
