Directly reporting to the Group CTO, I established and currently lead the R&I hub in Germany to position Simoldes as a strategic innovation partner for major German OEMs.• Built and scaled the German R&I department from scratch (HR, budget, performance).• Defined and executed the innovation roadmap for German OEMs (representing around 45% of total turnover). OEMs supported: Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, BMW, Volkswagen and VW Group brands Skoda and SEAT/Cupra.• Structured the company’s first-ever R&I project portfolio, aligning technical R&D with commercial goals.• Built the Simoldes Milestones Matrix for innovation projects, ensuring rigorous TRL maturity and performance tracking of the R&D projects.• Cultivated an extensive innovation network (universities, startups, Tier-2, open-innovation) across the DACH region.• Directed transversal project initiatives for global clients (Stellantis, Renault, Toyota, Volvo Trucks, Nissan), giving me strategic oversight of global customer accounts beyond the German market.
