Oversee team in responsible for bioinformatics tools and infrastructure development, as well as the verification testing and releasing of DRAGEN and BSSH/ICA apps.• Oversaw the design and development of a large bioinformatics data analysis framework. The project involves more than 20 developers and allows scientists and engineers to visualize different key metrics to assess the quality of the data coming out of DRAGEN. The framework is made of a data analysis program written in Python as well as a 3-tiered application written in Python/Django and React.• Led the integration team of TruSight Software Suite, a microservice based application that offers “Sample to Answer” solution to health institutions. The team was in charge of integrating the code and tools from the development, test, ops and security teams. The team designed a system to version, deploy, test and release the full software at each pull-request, providing fast feedback about the state of the system and enabling true DevOps process.• Led a team of bioinformactics engineers in charge of the verification and validation of secondary analysis components such as aligners, variant callers and annotation engines in a regulated environement (FDA, Iso 13485). The team participated in the design of bioinformatics software and tools and was in charge of the DevOps activities, Continuous Integration/Deployment, validation, verification and the release process.• Led the development of the C# Bioinformatics API, a collection of C# libraries used by the bioinformatics engineers.• Contributed to the development of Nirvana, the Illumina annotation engine. Participated in all development phases, from design to testing and deployment.Developed an automation framework in C# using technologies such as Docker and the BaseSpace REST API.
