WORK HISTORY
Founder & CEO @Plena Productions
NY, US
We are an incubator based in New York City. We are former journalists. Our workflows are designed to help young artists tell their stories effectively and to help them reach the widest audience possible. Our editorial focus is on championing free and accessible education for all, promoting free healthcare projects, and upholding pro-choice initiatives worldwide. Our mission is to bring the unseen into the spotlight. Giving a lasting legacy to those small lives that would vanish without our documentary work. We make the invisible visible. At our core, we are passionate about Caribbean, African, and Southeast Asian culture. We think that the media industry often oversimplifies stories from these regions, and the best films are made by local artists who understand the nuances.
