The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa is America’s first ever resort established in 1766 and just underwent a 170-million-dollar restoration. Renowned for its natural healing springs, the 2,300-acre resort consists of 483 guest rooms, square feet of meeting space, 11 dining choices, and about 30 recreational activities. This includes two championship golf courses, a luxurious spa, indoor and outdoor pools, an equestrian center currently housing 25 horses, a shooting club, mini golf, zip-lining, fly-fishing, kayaking, archery & tomahawk, falconry, skiing & snowboarding, snow tubing, and more!With the vast selection of recreation, exclusively at The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa, Omni Hotels & Resorts\' company-wide L.I.D. program is extended from a 12-month program to an 18-month program. The sole purpose being to allow the L.I.D.\'s at The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa to rotate through all departments.During the last 16-months, I have worked as a supervisor or manager in and rotated through 18 different departments on-site. This list of departments include: front office; concierge; housekeeping; banquets, special events, food & beverage restaurant; outdoor pool; engineering; loss prevention/security; purchasing (and loading dock); retail; finance; golf; spa; shooting club; equestrian center; ski lodge; and multiple other recreation activities.These last few months, I will be working in front office, marketing & sales, revenue, human resources, and special events.
