Responsible for: Resourcing and Benefits Strategy for the University with 1500 employees and around 200 appointments per annum•Provide advice and guidance on effective resourcing methods to hiring managers•Project Managed the introduction of a suite of ‘no cost’ reward solutions to the University, including a complete range of salary sacrifice benefits, voluntary health benefits and retail savings, supported by a new benefits website•Developed new methods of communicating total reward package, including Staff Benefits Fair, reward statements, marketing material, pensions seminars and benefits presentations •Introduced Management Reporting on Resourcing and Reward to inform on trends, spend and media success. Made significant reductions in time to hire and reduced cost per hire to less than £500•Enhanced employer brand through development of Employee Value Proposition, promotion of University at Recruitment fairs, development of online recruitment brochures, social media presence and new recruitment website. HR representative on Corporate Visual Identity Group.•Developed and delivered award winning behavioural interview training, including an interactive online module and classroom session. •Project Managed several system implementations, including recruitment website onto Farcry, HR website onto Sharepoint as well as multiple upgrades of our bespoke Applicant Tracking System. •Developed a co-ordinated induction process including online learning modules, self directed induction and benefits presentations•Oversee the recruitment for all senior management appointments•Managed the appointment of several University preferred supplier contracts, often in consultation with and as advisor to, the Scottish Universities’ Procurement Consortium, including temporary staffing, recruitment advertising and executive search•Ensured compliance with legislation, updating policies, procedures and guidance as required.
