ABOUT JULIE MEYERS CRACEL
I have spent my career at the intersection of food, people, and the systems that connect them. My work is driven by a simple belief: that our food systems can be resilient, equitable, and restorative if we build the right bridges between the people who grow, the people who distribute, and the people who eat.Whether I am scaling food waste initiatives across national networks, managing a partner ecosystem for local producers, or facilitating a complex curriculum in an elementary classroom, my role is the same: I am a translator and a bridge-builder. I specialize in taking big, ambitious goals—like climate-smart agriculture or community food security—and turning them into clear, actionable programs that people actually want to be part of.I’ve managed million-dollar impacts and led cross-functional teams, but I’ve also spent time \"on the ground,\" learning the storytelling and empathy required to move a movement forward. I don’t just build systems; I steward the relationships that make those systems work. I am as comfortable with qualitative data and storytelling as I am with operational spreadsheets and growth targets.I am a creative problem solver who offers candor and courage balanced with curiosity and humility. I am passionate about building a resilient food system, protecting the natural world, and supporting the human networks that will get us there.
