With more than 35 years in the technology industry, Julie Karbo’s strategic marketing and communications experience originated with high tech marketing. She has provided counsel to executives in a wide array of technology areas, including SaaS, mobile, data analytics, IoT/IIoT, crypto, martech and ad tech, networking, virtualization/cloud, security, social networking, Internet infrastructure, media, eCommerce, communities and consumer electronics. Karbo has directed positioning and programs targeted to a variety of audiences, including enterprise executives, IT staff, consumers, distributors, systems integrators, service providers, and developers. She has a strong track record of helping her clients achieve and maintain market leadership.She has provided counsel to high profile technology companies, including Apple, Hootsuite, ConsenSys, W3BCloud, eBay Advertising, Oracle, Cisco, Juniper Networks, Digg, RTI, Equinix, TIBCO, Nutanix, Sweep, and Paramount.Prior to founding Karbo Communications, she was co-founder & CEO of K/F Communications for over 13 years. Prior to K/F, Karbo was a partner at Stirling & Karbo, a technology PR firm for nine years. Karbo also served as VP/group account manager in Ketchum Public Relations\' technology practice and as a VP at Stirling & Cohan PR. Karbo served as group account manager at Regis McKenna, Inc. for five years. At RMI, she directed positioning and PR efforts for many of the technology industry\'s pioneers. She began her tech marketing career at Atari, Inc. where she managed product marketing planning and marketing communications in the game and computer product divisions. Karbo started her career at SRI International in marketing research.
