Innovafeed is a biotech company producing a new source of sustainable protein from insect farming. The protein is used for animal feed, in particular aquaculture where it replaces fishmeal. My role consists in the following- Designing functional units, from initial concept through handover to the production team- Covering among others: supplier consultations, functional analysis, budget management, construction oversight, commissioning, optimisation and reworks, end-to-end project management- Spanning a wide range of subjects such as electrical systems, automation, health and safety, operations management, process performance testing.

I am a Waste Management Engineer with 8 years of experience working in various sectors and countries. My passion for resource recovery has led me to have a successful career as a consultant for the award winning organization, SOIL and I now contribute to Innovafeed\'s ambition for a more sustainable food industry. My degree in MSc Waste and Resource Management from Cranfield University in the UK allowed me to learn and gain hands on experience in environmental regulations, evaluating sustainability, modeling environmental processes, environmental risks and so much more. This course work culminated in my final thesis for which I received the Shanks Group plc Award for Best Thesis in Waste and Resource Management:\"Maximizing Value of Human Fecal Derived Fertilizer to Meet Crop Demand in Madagascar\".
