I’m the co-founder and executive director of Green Philly, an independent media platform covering sustainability, climate solutions, and environmental justice in the Philadelphia region. Green Philly is the region’s leading platform for sustainability journalism and community engagement. Through journalism, events and community partnerships, we connect thousands of Philadelphians each month with practical climate solutions and the people leading change. Our reporting highlights local innovation, holds institutions accountable and helps make sustainability more accessible and actionable. My work sits at the intersection of media, climate communication and community building - helping translate complex sustainability issues into stories that inspire action.In addition to publishing journalism, I launched SustainPHL, Philadelphia’s annual sustainability awards recognizing the region’s environmental changemakers across business, government and community sectors in 2016. I’ve spoken on sustainability communications, digital media and community engagement and previously taught social media strategy at Temple University.
