With over 20 years in the workers\' compensation industry, Julie is a seasoned veteran in workers’ compensation litigation, claims management and risk management. Holding multiple roles in management, claims, loss prevention, risk management, and sales, she gathered a breadth of experience and knowledge to excel in the industry. She has an in-depth knowledge of alternative risk transfer tools including group captive products, stand-alone captive products and RRG\'s for multiple lines of coverage. As a former workers’ compensation defense attorney and claims unit manager Julie has been sought out as a national speaker and has presented at many risk workshops and national conferences over the years. Her arsenal of presentations include; “How Not to Hire Your Next Workers’ Compensation Claim,” “Stop The Free Ride, Implementing an Effective Return to Work Program,” “Best Practices, How Managers Can Help or Hurt a Claim,” and “Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analysis, Implementing a Preventative Action Plan to Reduce Losses.”Both Transport Topics and Bus and Motorcoach published articles authored by Julie on the sensitive topic of workers’ compensation and the aging workforce.
