ABOUT JULIE BINDEMAN

My area of specialization is around Reproductive Psychology (infertility, pregnancy/infant loss, birth trauma and perinatal mood disorders). This is a subject area in which I am so passionate about: having gained experience from both the \"been there, done that\" lens as well as obtaining years of specialty training. With these perspectives, I teach other professionals, provide supervision and consultation, write about it, as well as focus treatment with individuals, couples and groups. The greatest joy is being able to accompany someone on this lonely road, where they feel so isolated from others. I have consulted with businesses about dealing with pregnancy loss in the workplace. I have served as an expert witness around legal matters having to do with assisted reproductive medicine. My skill set includes the ability to conduct evaluations and consultations for potential gamete donors, gamete recipients, gestational carriers, and intended parents. Specialties: listening, creative problem solving, analysis, confrontation, interventions, providing supervision.
