Barka e.V. is part of the Barka Foundation for Mutual Help, originally founded in Poland in 1989 and now active across Europe, with locations in Poland, the Netherlands, Ireland and the UK. For the past decades, the Barka Foundation has been supporting Polish citizens who are homeless on the streets of Western European capitals. Our newly established location in Berlin is dedicated to supporting European migrants facing severe challenges, especially homelessness, addiction, and mental health issues, helping them rebuild their lives.
