About Julie Thomas

Throughout my life, helping others and dreaming big have been an integral part of who I am. I chose to transition into the financial services because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of families in my community. I\'ve always had big dreams and graduated with my undergraduate degree from Auburn University at age 20 and completed my MBA from Georgia State University at age 25. Family has always been a large part of my foundation (Jonathan and I have two boys named Bo and Jackson) along with being active and giving back in our community. I currently help coordinate events with Dogwood Park (Wesley Chapel & Weddington, NC area.) We have lived in Union County for over fifteen years. We stayed focused on our dreams and were debt-free by 35 with a quiet house with lots of land for our rescue dog to roam and the family to bike and spend time in the woods. I have twenty years business experience of working with teams to accomplish common goals. My core strength is taking an overwhelmingly, complicated big goal and sizing it down into small, easily accomplished micro-goals that can be tracked. I put those skills to work with my partner Bart Carmichael and Branch Office Administrator Shelly Rodriguez, helping families route out their financial journeys in the Ballantyne area of South Charlotte at Edward Jones in Robinson Farm on Rea Road servicing families in both Mecklenburg and Union County.
