ABOUT JULIE STEAD

Julie graduated from the University of Washington in 2004 with a Masters Degree in Public Accounting. She achieved her CPA in 2005 and spent the first several years of her career working in public accounting before migrating to industry. She has been a part of the Turning Point team since 2011 in the Financial/CFO Advisory Group. Julie’s primary focus are with clients that are struggling with cash flow or profitability issues, whether due to revenue growth exceeding capacity or market retraction. She assists clients in helping understand their financial situation and cash flow restraints, forecast for the future and find solid ground. She works directly with the CEOs and the accounting departments of her clients, reviewing processes and procedures to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and improve efficiencies.Julie lives in Gig Harbor with her husband, daughter and twin boys. She is an avid ultrarunner, her longest distance (so far) being the completion of the White River 50-mile race near Mount Rainier. She is an outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys camping and hiking with her family in the summer, and snowboarding and snowshoeing in the winter.
