Responsible for closing department daily activities including coordinating all closings, reviewing contracts, cancellations, inventory of homes, maintain and distribute company reports, effectively administer/review all documentation to facilitate the closing of each home • Development, selection and training of closing coordinators that directly impact closing processes and customer experience • Lead and coordinate meetings to review backlog, completion expectations, product needs and adjustments, weekly and monthly goals and discuss variances • Work in partnership with attorneys, paralegals, realtors, customers, mortgage companies, appraisers, governmental agencies, land developers, and company stakeholders • Effectively manage tight deadlines, promptly address changes without disrupting schedules, and managing a high volume of work while ensuring a quality product for our customers • Confirm each closing disclosure provided by attorney matches sales contract and reconcile any discrepancies prior to closing • Handle difficult situations with homebuyers to ensure validity of purchase contract • Supply attorneys with closing documentation including final surveys, soil treatments, contracts, certificates of occupancy and keys • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
