About Julie Smith
My career has been devoted to developing the people within a veterinary organization and creating an environment so that they can thrive and provide exceptional veterinary medical care to patients and excellent service to clients. My clinical background and critical thinking skills afford me expert knowledge and insight into the veterinary industry. My management experience and business training provide the tools for me to develop and execute the objectives necessary for me to reach the goals of the organization for which I served. I now focus my work on a nonprofit I founded (SAGE Compassion for Animals) and am expanding my skills as a coach through the Hudson Institute of Coaching. I hope I can serve as a resource for individuals who may be navigating a change in their career, or contemplating one and examining what is needed to make that leap, or just having questions about where they want to be in the world. It is important to me that I continue to give back to the veterinary space and communities that supported me throughout my career.
